Browsing the Website

You can browse every page on wazabi.gg — news, matches, team, shop, and community — without creating an account. We use a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool to see aggregate visitor numbers and popular pages (see "Cookies & analytics" below) — it doesn't identify you personally, and we don't run any advertising trackers or build a profile of you.

Staff accounts

The only accounts on wazabi.gg today belong to WAZABI staff, used to manage the site's content. We keep this data for as long as the person holds an active admin role with WAZABI, and delete it afterwards.

Cookies & analytics

We use one cookie, which keeps a staff member signed in after they log in to manage the site. It's required for that to work.

We also use built-in website analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. It doesn't track you individually or identify you personally. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your consent.

Who we share data with

We don't sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone for their own marketing purposes. We use Supabase and Vercel to run the Website's technical infrastructure (database and hosting), and staff account data passes through them for that purpose only. Both may process data outside the EU/EEA, covered by standard EU-approved data transfer safeguards.

Links to our Discord server, webshop, and social media take you to services run by other companies, each with their own privacy policy — we'd recommend giving those a read too.

Keeping your data safe

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict administrative access by role, and never store passwords in plain text.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of anything inaccurate
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
• Withdraw consent at any time, for anything based on consent

If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain directly to the Danish data protection authority, Datatilsynet.

Changes to this policy

We're actively building wazabi.gg. If we add a feature that changes what data we collect — for example, letting visitors sign in — we'll update this page first to explain exactly what's new, and update the date at the top.
